Drosselmeyer
Robert Cleary will
recreate the role of Herr Drosselmeyer. Robert has been dancing
the role since1996. Robert is a graduate of the Univeristy of
Minnesota Dance Department. He has performed with many companies
including Ballet Minnesota and Minnesota Dance Theater. Presently
Robert is choreogrpaher for the Madison Wisconsin based and directed
by former Graham company member Lisa Thurell.
Nutcracker
Geoff Leung will
again dance the role of the Nutcracker. Geoff is a graduate of
the Classical Ballet Academy of Minnesota and has danced with
Ballet Minnesota. He is presently going to college in Northfield,
MN.
Geoff has danced in 'Oleon', 'Italian Symphony", 'Coppelia',
'Bournonville Dances' and 'River Songs'.

Sugar Plum Fairy
After graduating
from the Novosibirsk Ballet School (Russia), Oksana won First
Prize at the Vaganova Ballet Competition in St Petersburg, Russia.
In 1990 Ms Konobeyeva joined the Y. Grigorovich Ballet - Bolshoi
Theater. Some of the soloist and principal roles she perfromed
included Odette-Odile in "Swan Lake", Aurora and Princess
Florine in "Sleeping Beauty" and many others. In 1994
she joined the Moscow Renaissance Ballet where her repetoire
included "Pas de Quatre", "Tailsman" and
"Paquita". In 1996 she won The First Prize and a Gold
Medal at the International Ballet Competition in Luxembourg.
In the same year Oksana joined American Ballet Theater where
she was promoted to soloist in 1996. Besides perfroming the classics,
she has performed in new works by Twyla Tharp, John Neumeier
and Robert Hill. Some of her teachers included: M Lavrovsky,
R. Karelskaya, L Ribinkina & N Fedeychev from the Bolshoi.
American Ballet Theater, 1st Prize:Vaganova Ballet Competition,
Russia. She also danced in 4 Swans in the Movie "Center
Stage"

Snow Queen
Sarah Bulger began
her training at the Classical Ballet Academy of MInnesota. She
has danced in a number of classical ballets including 'Coppelia'
and 'Don Quixote'. Her
ability is evident by the photo at left. This will be Sarah'
first
year dancing the Snow Queen
